Important Information
This course aims to provide the knowledge, skills and understanding to seafarers of all ranks necessary to exercise their service on board RO-RO and Passenger Ships, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation V/2 of the STCW Convention, paragraphs 1 to 5 of the Section A-V/2 and table A-V/2 of the STCW Code, as amended.

The course also aims to familiarise students with the procedures and equipment of the ship which, combined with regular and realistic on-board training and drills, will help them to react calmly and effectively in a real situation where the safety of passengers, crew, ship or environment are threaten.
Syllabus
- Familiarisation with onboard emergency situations. Safety instructions for personnel providing direct services to passengers in the passengers’ spaces.
- Crowd management.
- Crisis management and human behaviour
- Safety of passengers, goods and hull integrity.
Target Group
Seafarers of any rank aiming to work onboard RO-RO and/or passenger ships.
